About Lamprobe
Lamprobe emits radio/high frequency (RF) energy that converts to heat, to precisely and quickly treat minor skin irregularities (MSI) without penetrating the skin’s surface. The non-invasive treatment takes just seconds and provides minimal discomfort. After the lesion is treated, a small crust or scrab will form, which falls away within 7 days or so. Lesion will continue to heal over the next 6 weeks.

Lamprobe FAQ’S -
What you should know before your treatment
-
Lamprobe is not appropriate for every client or every skin lesion. Before treatment, we will review your skin, medical history, medications, and the area you would like treated.
Any suspicious, changing, bleeding, or undiagnosed lesion should be evaluated by a physician/dermatologist before cosmetic treatment. Depending on your circumstances, treatment may also need to be postponed or avoided if the skin is irritated, sunburned, infected, or otherwise compromised. Potential side effects of lesion treatment can include redness, irritation, scabbing, pigment changes, burning, and, less commonly, scarring.
If you are pregnant, diabetic or have metal implants in the area being treated, or any electric medical device like a pacemaker, Lamprobe is not recommened.
-
Most clients describe Lamprobe as a quick, warm or prickling sensation, and treatment is generally well tolerated. The sensation can vary depending on the type, size, and location of the area being treated.
Treatments are typically very quick, with individual spots often taking only seconds to treat.
-
The treatment itself is typically brief. You may notice temporary redness, mild swelling, sensitivity, or a small scab at the treatment site afterward. The area may look slightly more noticeable before it begins to heal and fade.
Healing time varies depending on the type and location of the lesion. Your individual aftercare instructions and ointments will be provided at your appointment.
It is always our goal to prevent surrounding tissue damage, scarring, or pigmentation. Factors include skin color, hormonal fluctuation, genetic conditions, and other influences may affect treatment outcome.
-
One treatment is typically sufficient for most MSI’s. Some skin irregularities can recur overtime and some may require more than one treatment depending on the complexity of the MSI and treatment area for the desired esthetic improvement outcome.
-
Yes, we can treat more than one lesion and type of lesion in one appointment.
-
All price ranges are starting points per MSI and depend on MSi type, size, location, complexity and if the MSI requires a topical anesthetic.
Hperkeratinized MSI $30-75 (requires topical anesthetic $30)
Vasular MSI $10-50
